The Verified Tax Adviser program puts a credibility badge on your forum answers - free, no directory fees, no obligation. We're an early-stage site building this up from zero, which cuts both ways: no queue of advisers ahead of you, and no pretending this is already a mature lead channel.
Where the forum stands right now: we recently pulled it out of the main site navigation - the first batch of threads was seeded by us to get it started, and we'd rather be upfront about that than keep pointing visitors at something that reads as more established than it is. The forum itself is still fully live and open at /forum - anyone can post a real question (30%-ruling edge cases, DTAA on foreign assets, ZZP-vs-employee calls) and those pages stay indexed and searchable regardless of nav placement. Verified advisers actually answering the real questions that come in is exactly what would earn the forum its nav spot back - you'd be building that track record from the start, not joining after it's already established.
How it works
1. Apply with your membership number
Your RB (Register Belastingadviseurs) or NOB (Nederlandse Orde van Belastingadviseurs) number - takes about two minutes.
2. We verify it manually
We cross-check your number against the public register ourselves before approving anything. Usually within a few days.
3. Answer real questions
Whenever you have time. No quota, no schedule, no obligation to respond to anything specific.
4. Your badge goes live everywhere
On every post and reply you've made, not just new ones - approval applies retroactively across your whole history.
Why advisers join
- Warm interest, not cold traffic. Someone who posts a forum question already ran their numbers on the free calculator and hit something it can't resolve - a 30%-ruling edge case, DTAA on foreign assets, ZZP-vs-employee structuring, and similar.
- Honest positioning. No directory fees, no pay-to-rank, no exclusivity - and no pretending this is a mature lead channel before it actually is one.
- Ground floor, not backlog. There's no established adviser presence here yet - when real questions start coming in, your answers are the first ones, not buried under a hundred others.

Is there a fee?
No, not currently. If that ever changes, advisers already verified at that point get advance notice before anything changes for them.
How is my membership actually verified?
Manually - we look up your RB or NOB number in the public register ourselves before approving. We don't take your word for it, which is also what makes the badge worth something.
Can I still post anonymously?
Yes. The badge is suppressed on anonymous posts to respect that choice - it only shows when you post under your account.
How much time does this take?
As much or as little as you want. There's no quota, no schedule, no contract.
What if my application is rejected?
You can correct the details and reapply any time - resubmitting just resets your application to pending.
