NL Tax Calculator is an independent project run by one person. It is not a company or a tax advisory firm, and it is not affiliated with the Belastingdienst. It provides estimates for guidance only. By using this site, you accept these terms; if you don't agree, please don't use it.
Every figure this app produces, including AI-generated review findings, is a planning estimate, not a filed return and not professional advice. Tax rules have edge cases this tool doesn't model (see the known simplifications noted throughout the calculator). Always confirm your actual filing with a registered tax advisor or the Belastingdienst before relying on any number here.
The same goes for the NL Salary Lens browser extension. Its net pay tags are estimates for a single income; what it reads from a job ad (holiday allowance, a 13th month, hours) can be wrong, so check the ad. On housing sites, "3 to 4 times the rent" is a common landlord rule, not a promise of approval, and mortgage figures use an example interest rate and a 100% loan: they are not a mortgage offer or financial advice. Ask a lender or an independent mortgage adviser before you decide.
Signing in is required for the AI features (document upload, tax assistant chat, AI method review). You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, and for anything done under your account. You can delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected].
Accounts used to abuse the service can be suspended or blocked. See Security measures in the Privacy Policy.
This service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy of any calculation or AI-generated finding. To the extent permitted by Dutch law, the maintainer is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site.
The site's code, design, and written content belong to the maintainer unless otherwise noted. You're welcome to use the calculator for your own tax planning; you may not copy, redistribute, or scrape the site or its content without permission.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Dutch courts.
If these terms change materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
