9Common questions

Can I file in English?

The online return is in Dutch only. Our filing helper explains each field in English.

Should I use a tax adviser?

For an M-form, foreign income or the self-employed, an adviser often pays for itself. For a simple P-form you can usually do it yourself.

How long until I get my refund?

Often within a few weeks of filing online. M-forms take longer, sometimes months.

I made a mistake after filing. Can I fix it?

Yes: file a corrected return before the assessment, or object within six weeks after it.
