City of peace and justice

Amsterdam is the capital, but The Hague is where the government, the Tweede and Eerste Kamer, the ministries and the King's working palace (Noordeinde) are. It is also home to the International Court of Justice, the International Criminal Court and many international organisations, which gives the city a large international community.

How it all works: Dutch politics explained.
